Ultrasonic weldment, melt-bonding joint faces of plastic parts by tribological heat generated by ultrasonic vibration, is a technology widely being used in the various industrial fields, thanks to the following advantages.

  • Higher mechanical strengths

Ultrasonic weldment with stable quality is achieved by total process management of the production processes; the parts design most suitable for the ultrasonic weldment, molds make-up and molding process. The typical example is a toner cartridge of coping machine.

We have practiced such a total process management so far. We have further developed our own ultrasonic weldment technology "S WELD" to realize flange-less and mold-flash free.

Detection of the cause of quality problem caused by ultrasonic weldment is said to be difficult, since the weldment shape is generally determined by welding equipment manufacturers.
